Why I Believe in Evolution

For those of you who have been following this blog or know me, that title may come as a surprise to you. I do believe in evolution as a scientifically verifiable fact but, there’s an important distinction that needs to be made. Whenever we talk of evolution we need to be clear which form we’re speaking of, micro or macro. While the words appear similar, there’s a world of difference between what they describe. What Does Christianity Have to Offer?

Having been down and out for most of the last week with a particularly nasty cold, I’ve had more time than usual to do some thinking. There are many things in this world that simply don’t make sense unless God exists and Christianity is true. Atheist Richard Dawkins once remarked: “In a universe of electrons and selfish genes, blind physical forces and genetic replication, some people are going to get hurt, other people are going to get lucky, and you won’t find any rhyme or reason in it, nor any justice.
